On TechRepublic: Windows 7: Slower to boot than Vista?

I've been using the timestop method *cough* since Vista's RTM without a problem. *knocks on wood*.

I'll be giving this a try when I get around to updating my laptop to SP1, thanks for the information. It's been an interesting read so far.
