Far out!!! We agree...

I must add, as a Consumer advocate of some sort, that they are NOT "only hurting themselves...": they are also hurting the great majority of those who do NOT have even Service Pack 1 Release Candidate 1 Refresh 0 installed.

In my case, there has not been enough in the RTM for Windows Update to need to urgently update me until the fixed bits are released to the General Public. I've had about zero need for updates since I've installed the original refresh.

Between Microsoft and McAfee Security Center(a "tip-o'-the-hat" to Comcast for the McAfee Secutity Suite), along with the local network administrator (who is a rabid Mac fan), I am relatively safe navigating through the seas of the World Wide Web.

NOTE that I say "relatively safe", since any safety one has on the earth is fleeting.

Just an afterthought about Network safety...

Never be caught off-guard. Of course, some crackpot idiot who fancies himself a comic will now chime in with "Never say never...".
