SAAS is Evil
You know where I lay the blame for this? Google. They made SaaS incredibly sexy
and this has resulted in all of the big players wanting to cash in. As a result, the
future of computing is moving toward online services and advertising. Call me old
fashioned, but I just want my computer to work and I don't want to be advertised to
while I it is working.

As Microsoft becomes more infatuated with the online services and annoying ads,
it will only get worse. Google is becoming more explicit with their obnoxious ads
as well. So, I intend to move toward platforms where I will not be advertised to
(hello Mac!, hello Linux!).
