Crapware on Linux systems....
"Good point, but I wonder how long it will be until we start seeing low-cost Linux systems loaded with crapware so the companies selling them can increase profit margins?"

I hope the manufactures learn their lesson that we rather pay more and not have our PC's subsidized by crapware..... It seems Dell may have already learned this. I noticed the Dell systems sold at Staples has very little crapware/trialware. Mostly it's just a trial A/V package, Office Home/Student trial, and maybe one or two others. The desktop was pleasantly clean....about as clean as an Acer screen. These guys seemed to have not wanted to annoy their customers and yet the can pull of prices that make the average buyer smile.
