Konqueror
The best file manager ever invented. It does native FTP, SSH, has integrated MIME managers, mouse over preview of songs and movies, split left/right/top/bottom, fully customizable view and is a fully integrated web browser.

Now, I hope, a feature that has LONG been a malware attack vector in Windows, the way files are identified in Linux is to read the first few bytes of a file to definitively know what a file is. Adding .jpg.exe will be spoiled because Konqueror will know it isn't a .jpg. Is this ability available on a Windows port? Specifically, will the Windows version of Konqueror preread the files first few bytes to learn what the file actually is. (Why Windows has not added this basic ability long ago is beyond me)

Anyway, any Window person that I show, and they get used to this see that this one application beats any file manager in Windows hands down, and think about it, a LOT of our time is spent in file managers.
