3 Arguments
First, your timing is horrible. Any gamer with the patience for the kill would tell you that while your system is cheap, you are on the eve of a Videocard/Processor Refresh.

Second, I don't like your Motherboard because it lacks quad core support, while it might be good for Penryn. Probably is because of the Front Side Bus.

Third, while your memory is not bad and has a pretty good price, if you want cutting edge, I would suggest a memory with a better timing. A latency of 5 is a bit much when you can get a latency of for a few dollars more. Even the same brand "A Data" costs only $7 dollars more.

Other than that, your system is not bad. Compare it to my own blend where I try to cut the price below $400.

Not a great system, but good enough to get me through the weekend.

Ofcourse to get the cost down, I have recycled the case, a processor and an optical drive. The board while not SLI will support new Penryn processor. But that is what you get for keeping the cost down.
