I've thought about it before
but I'm not convinced. To be honest, the PRIMARY difference between the Mac and any PC is the OS. Not the hardware. Sure there are differences, but if you compare a ThinkPad to a Macbook, you will see that they are on par with each other. The choice becomes which OS to run. If Apple started selling Windows, they had better make certain that their hardware is spectacular in comparison to everyone else.

No, what Apple would be better off doing is to sell copies of windows at cost as an add on. Or better yet, buy a VM company and make VMs a part of the OS to run XP apps mostly native. That would be useful.
