False Advertizing?!?
Actually, all of Apple's color laptop screens have been 6 bit. But, more importantly, Apple has never stated that it's laptops show 16 million colors, nor have they ever said that they use 8 bit screens (please check your facts). In fact, they have never stated the bit depth of any LCD monitor they have produced or used. They only state that their laptops "support millions of colors." While certainly ethically shady, the statement is in fact true. Their laptop screens do, in fact, "support" millions of colors (using dithering) and their video cards are in fact 8 bit cards (meaning that they will display 16.7 million colors on an external, CRT display).
