The huge selling point is fast VMs
While I admit that BootCamp isn't a huge selling point, VM software like Parallels is. I have been a build it myself Windows PC user for years, but have always wanted to try out OS X. What has always held me back was the one or two applications that I need to run (in my case Visual Studio). For years, I couldn't justify buying 2 computers. But once Apple went with Intel, the performance hit from running Windows in a VM became negligable. So as of 3 weeks ago, I bought my first Mac (a Mac Pro with an HP 24" LCD). And I'm loving it.

I don't think I'm an isolated case. There are a lot of people who have 1 or 2 apps that wouldn't run on a Mac who are now willing and able to make the switch.
