From Windows to Linux
I have been interested in moving to Linux for some time now. I have been using Freespire for some time now and am very happy with it. The only time I miss Windows is when I need Internet Explorer for a proprietary application that requires it. The rest of the time my Windows box collect dust.
It should be noted thst I only use my computer at home for email image editing and other basic things that an average user would. I do not think that these Linux distributions are ready to usurp Windows in the office world yet but they are getting close. Much closer that they were even two years ago and Vista has not brought anything to the table that puts any more distance between them and Linux. Open source may well be doomed but I will be rooting for it.
