If I owned Sony stock...

I would sell, sell, sell after that statement!

I once went to a week-long Quality Management conference at Texas A&M University. One of the things that stands out in my mind is the statement "Only give the customer what he is willing to pay for." It appears from Mr. Stringer's statement that Sony would have done well to attend this same conference.
