I'm not sure what you're on about
Not sure as to what you're on about as I tried Ubuntu 6.01 and liked it but I found it to be very inexpensive about $10 for a copy of the Live Disk. I've tried several Linux distros, the only one I really didn't like was SuSe but that was more of a personal thing as I wouldn't call any OS crapware. You don't define what you're referring to with respect to getting anything useful done. What Government appointed monopolies ? If you want to rant about Ubuntu, ok, fine, great but if you want anyone to listen, you have to calm down, be specific and say something worthwhile. There is just no point in ranting as it's a lot like a dog humping a football, lots of excitement but little satisfaction, see my point ?
