I tried an earlier version and liked it but ...
I bought a Ubuntu 6.01 Live disk and I installed and ran the OS which I liked as it puts a smile on my face thinking about it. The only issue I had was it wasn't quite as complete as I would have liked but I did like it better than SuSe. I found Xandros to be my choice in Linux but it has it's short comings as well. I did a lot of reading on reviews to try and find what distro of Linux would appeal to me. Xandros Business 3.0 was my choice but did upgrade to Xandros Professional 4.0 as both came with updatable Antivirus, Adware, File Protection and a very flexible License which allows me to install it on as many personal pcs as I own as well as 1 business pc. It has a lot of software and a support forum as well as automatic updates. It's not a perfect OS but I like it enough to buy the full version.
