Watch out for fellow blogger George Ou - he'll tell you you probably don't need more than 300 watts as long as it's a continuous power supply.

As for myself, I have a 500 watt continuous power supply by Ultra. He may call it overkill, I call it future proofing. Who knows? I may SLI together dual GeForce 8800s in the future happy.
