Squeak/eToys
I've been learning Squeak on my own time. People can get a version of it that runs on their own computer, such as the Mac, PC, Linux, etc. by going to www.squeak.org, or www.squeakland.org. It's been around as an open source project since the mid-1990s.

There are some online videos of Alan Kay demonstrating Squeak/eToys available on Google video. Just search on Squeak. Kay was one of its creators. He's also involved in the OLPC project.
