I just can't envision Android being a winner on netbooks
Unless a great deal of additional development went into it to deal with peripherals and to deal with non-Dalvik/Java programs, I don't see Android as being useful on a netbook. Unless it has phone call capabilities (which I doubt), and even then I would be skeptical.

Android is an excellent phone OS. Trying to make it something it isn't meant to be in my estimation is rather counterproductive.
