Can Apple launch a tablet device and do what it did with the iPhone?

you give the impression that smartphones were powerful, usable devices
with lots of features people just didn't know about before the iphone came
along and apple changed that with their all so powerful marketing mojo.

oh, the denial of the the microsoft press! do you really want to say that any
of these devices had a real browser before the iphone was introduced? a
desktop class browser that was usable? an appstore? multitouch? media
handling like a next gen ipod? visual voicemail etc. etc. you must be kidding!

just admit it: apple reinvented the phone and since then all your beloved
other companies just try to copy it. it's not about a feature list that isn't
worth the paper it is written on. it is about the ui and implementation of
features. the magic word is usability. that's the only thing that counts.

(for instance: have you seen how you can make, trim and share videos on the
3gs? have you ever seen something only remotly similar on another
smartphone?)
