DRM-free Tracks with slotMusic, maybe slotRadio too?
According to Sansa, the slotMusic cards (which are currently available) are DRM-free MP3 files that can be put on an unlimited number of devices:

Will slotRadio be the same, I am not sure, but it's an interesting business model. 1000 songs on a microSDHC card - those must be fairly decent size, especially if they use 320kbps for the bitrate. Just a back-of-the napkin calculation reveals the cards themselves would need to about 6 GB - so in reality these cards might be 8 GB. Not a bad deal to get an 8 GB microSDHC card and 1000 songs!

For those checking the math:
[(1000 songs) * (180 second average per song) * (320 kbps)]/ [(8 bits per byte) * (1048576 bytes per gigabyte)] = 6.87 GB
