I read Mr. Miller's review of the new HTC Advantage X7510 with great interest, because I own an X7501.
I was hoping the article would discuss the problems users of HTC devices are having with performance on HTC devices which have the ATI graphic chip, but lack video drivers to take advantage of the hardware acceleration available in the chipset.
I have been disappointed in general with the performance of my Advantage, as well as my HTC TyTN II (aka Tilt) because of this problem.
Since HTC was generous enough to give Mr. Miller a free phone, I guess it would have been rude of him to bring up this issue in his review.
For a complete explanation of the problem and what has been done, or more to the point, what has not been done about it, check out http://www.htcclassaction.org. - Posted by: bren@... Posted on: 05/22/08 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
