Too big
Excellent specs. It has EVERYTHING I'm looking for and a battery that lasts for a day. Unfortunately, it's way too big to be carried around as a mobile phone. And I'm used to carrying "bigger-than-usual" phones around, being a Smartphone user since the Treo 650 (now a Treo 680 user). Still, after drawing a rectangle in a piece of paper using the HTC Advantage's dimensions, I was scared. If only HTC could release a slightly smaller version (and hopefully no compromises) as the HTC Advantage II, I would buy it eyes closed. I agree that, for all the included features, the steep price isn't THAT steep after all. No need to buy an external keyboard unless you type a LOT, no need to get a Bluetooth GPS, no need to get an extra case, can be used as a "slightly better than standard resolution" media center, is a true world phone, supports virtually all data connections available out there, has VGA resolution, an included micro HD and uses the most recent Windows Mobile 6. Not perfect for me because of its size. I would have to have this AND another true mobile phone, since I wouldn't carry something that big to the movies, going outdoors, etc. But it's truly the perfect Smartphone. Technology is there, they just have to make it smaller. happy
