Car mounting solutions

I've had an Advantage (X7500 UK model) for several months now, and you can't beat the Herbert Richter kits. They're a little pricey for what they are, but are custom designed for the Advantage. The air vent mount is better than one of the goose necks, as it's closer to a built in console display (just better featured!). I've also used an Audiac FM transmitter (similar to an iTrip, but the speakers on the Advantage mean it's not really necessary.

Does anyone know what the differences between the X7500 and X7501 are? Aside from WM5 v WM6, the specs appear identical save for TeleNav (on this side of the pond we get TomTom Navigator, which seems to be identical but doesn't charge a subscription, just a one off charge for maps), and we're due a WM6 flash release at the end of the month from HTC.
