Well that's OK if...
...you have a music preference for EMI and want the higher-fidelity non-DRM version--this is good.

A breakthrough and hopefully others will follow suit.

As for myself, downloading music 'by the song' doesn't work.

Gone are the days where I had time to invest in storing, ripping, dubbing--too much effort.

I just want to 'on demand listen'.

So, getting a subscription for streaming music for Real Rhapsody made sense for me--at $9.99/month, I get access to over 3M song titles[1].

From any location, any time--no making a purchase.
For the amount of music I listen to the $9.99/month is very reasonable.

Rhapsody runs on Windows, Linux, Nokia N800 Internet Tablet and Apple Mac equipment. This also appealed to me as I use Linux at home.

Yahoo! Music is only supported on Windows.
BTW, the [url=http://www.realnetworks.com/company/press/releases/2007/rhap_nokia.html]Nokia N800 Rhapsody software[/url] is reheheallly nice!

Been using the N800 now for about week.
