Google meeting GPS on the golf course
Our company (http://golftraxx.com) created a solution a year and a half ago that enabled "Google to meet GPS on the golfcourse."

GolfTraxx also developed an in-house application that extracts the GPS coordinates out of Google Earth kml files, and adds these coordinates to their online database.

Users can then download the coordinates for a GoogleEarth-mapped course directly to their PDA device.

GolfTraxx also provides a simple guide to mapping courses so that users can map their local courses, and Golftraxx adds the submitted courses, usually the same day.

Not sure if you knew about any of this, but thought you should know that your ideas about integrating Google Earth and golf had been around for quite some time.

I would love to speak with you if you'd like 877-354-GOLF.

Thanks!
