IMO, News is one of the main pillar in democracy, play main role in politics, especially during election time, its not an Entertainment like youtube. Streaming all the news into a single channel is danger for constitution.
People are comparing this issue with free speech, free speech is something manual process where people write content. Google news aggregating, ranking, indirectly monetizing on it, here crawlers, aggregators, algorithms are used.
?right to speak? is not directly relavant to ?right to link?, what you are say about the site, how are conveying to users are matters.
In future, google may mashup, add advertisement, deliver to mobile devices, finally can unplug few news channel and replace with its own G?news
