Google Local Search: $31 billion risky business

All that text for a simple conclusion: It does not take all that text to write at the bottom of the article that a $31B idea is also a $31B risk. That is common sense in business.

I think that local search will play incredibly important role in the future of the web.

We are most probably going to be living in the environment where we will be able to browse our local areas in some form of a virtual world (perhaps Google Earth) and make decisions on where exactly we are going before we even head out.
