When will Google Local reap $39 billion local ad sales opportunity?

I can't believe you have to ask "when"

Google will reap a huge chunk of the $39 billion market once they have become the de facto standard, and not one nanosecond before. If they charged for it now, they would never become the standard, and someone else would own the market.

It's part of their modified Microsoft strategy: Embrace, Extend, Extort.
