Authentium issued a patch to correc their problem with Craig's List within days of being informed of the problem.
The problem, by the way, is caused by Craig's List setting a TCP Window Size of 0, and then changing it. Authentium's personal firewall software - it runs on your PC, not in the Cox network - didn't react to the change quickly enough.
The real question is why Craig's List does what it does, and hasn't been fixed MONTHS AFTER AUTHENTIUM ISSUED A PATCH TO GIVE CRAIGS LIST THE SPECIAL TREATMENT IT DEMANDS. - Posted by: richardbennett Posted on: 06/19/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
