The Experience and the Brand
More and more the brand and the experience become tied to each other. Just look at Starbucks who built their brand upon the experience. What happened when that experience began to lack? Brand erosion. Kudos to them for realizing it and making attempts to regain the experience (i.e. the "re-training" of baristas, etc.)
