WPF market is getting warmer
Ryan,

WPF component market is definitely growing but is still not as significant as
Windows Forms. Main reason for that is, I believe, lack of good design-time tools
and existing Windows Forms technology is good enough and well tested. VS.NET
2008 should improve the design-time tools situation a little bit, but it is still
lacking when compared to Windows Forms designer. Additionally, WPF usually
needs machines with little more power while Windows Forms technology happily
works on lower end machines.

I have to add though that we released the world's first WPF Office 2007 style
Ribbon Control back in March 2007. We also released world's first Windows Forms
Ribbon Control a full year before anyone else. The significance of that is that we
provide well tested, time proven solution for people that want to create
professional user interface with WPF.
