ColdFusion Was Dying??
What evidence do you have for your statement that ColdFusion was dying? CFMX 8 (Scorpio) has been in development by Adobe for over a year. So for at least the past year, Adobe's commitment to CF has been strong. Adbobe's public and private statements about CF have been strong. Adobe upgraded CFMX 7 to work seamlessly with Flex 2.0.

I see CFMX 8 as another in a long line of excellent CF releases starting with CFMX 6. I don't believe you can provide any evidence that CF was a dying language.
