Half-"hearted" support
Or maybe it's some other body part they only do half of.

Example: this system doesn't do Flash at all. Not that I have any religious objections to Flash (my notebook has the Flash player) but because there's no 64-bit version.

Say what?

Yup. No 64-bit version, and this is a 64-bit system. You'd think that Adobe would smell the direction the wind is blowing and get a 64-bit version to the Linux crowd, since one of the things you tend to get from us is lots of detailed bug reports [1].

But no.

Other examples abound, such as the total absense of a Linux version of FrameMaker. Seems a bit strange that the only Solaris box I've used for the last six years was there to host Frame, but there you are -- Adobe has a Frame for Linux [1] but doesn't market it. I'm sure it's because the Solaris desktop market is so much larger.

Face it: Adobe has a death wish. They're cutting back support for everything but a platform controlled by a company that has Adobe as next in line for extinction.

[1] Assuming, of course, that you have the sense to set up something like BugZilla.
[2] I beta-tested it back in the 90s.
