... competitive at these retail price points but that day may finally have come! Good for Apple (and good for the rest of us).

Still, EdTech has always enjoyed extremely aggressive enterprise-level discounts from the top tier of PC vendors and Apple remains hard pressed to offer anyone (including the enterprise) discounts beyond 10%.

What this means is that even if the products are finally comparable feature for feature at retail price-points, schools will have difficulty getting prices for Apple down anywhere close to the prices schools ACTUALLY PAY for Dells or HPs.
