Contrary to what was said in some articles in your section back in '07. The XO is doing well, it has support, it has training and now middle schools are being connected to the web because the elementary kids with XOs are moving in from 6th grade.

It's good to see that both projects are doing well. The the initial doomsday scenarios never came to be. That acceptance is good and that the projects are bearing fruit. It's amazing how a single laptop in the hands of a child can affect so many around him or her. Family, friends and relatives become acquainted with things they never would have otherwise.
