Google Edu Apps vs. Microsoft Web Apps: Should I have waited?
Yet another article where you have nothing to say but simply praise Google because in your eyes they can do no wrong. Yes you should have waited. Microsoft is the world leader in office suites with years upon years of experience. Not only will they offer a better product but they can offer support as well and you know the site will be up and running for 5 years at least. With Google you won't get any of that, no support, a constant beta tag, and a service that is neglected after 6 months. But why you want to put your school district's info on the web is beyond me. You need to think more about privacy issues instead of just using something by the shoddy coders of Google just because it has Google's name on it. Why don't you admit the real reason? That is you hate Microsoft. That is all your blogs ever boil down to and it upsets you because someone in your district might actually like them so you figure why not make the entire school district's life a living hell and go with Google on the cloud. You know, so when your internet connection does cut out everyone will be lost. Its amazing you still have a job.
