As a roaming tech helper and trainer, I completely concur. Over the past few years, I have moved quite a few of my clients to Mac or Linux and they couldn't be happier. And lately, the infestation of fake security software has been insane...and as you say, on well protected system. Users are just too tempted by advertisements and not very selective about clicking on search results no matter how much you try to educate them on prevention.
