Teach people how to sterilize shared technology.
This should be a no brainer but I never see it addressed anywhere properly.

Shared communications devices are a prime spot for transfering germs. In most schols the janitorial staff doesn't even touch computers.
Mice, mouse pads, keyboards accumulate grime and pathogens until the day they are surplussed and sent to a third world country.

Teach janitorial staff, teachers, and students simple digital hygiene.

1. Mouse pads are the worst. Throw them out or at least be sure they are regualarly cleaned with antibacterial cleansers.

2. Likewise keyboards and mice should get a regular wipe down with 3 parts filtered water to 2 parts isoprpyl alchohol on a dampened rags or sponges.

3. Have hand sanitizer in class and encourage kids to use it. Same goes for teachers if they share equipment.

4. Extend awareness to include other shared items. Cd's, thumbdrives, ipods, cell phones (yuch!).
