Will 4G make our networks irrelevant?

Don't worry about it

I'm pretty sure the wireless companies (with Verizon at the top of the list) will find a way to throttle, meter, and cap 4G out of broad usefulness long before schools and other organizations of the same scale get around to using it in place of a closed client network.
