- I hope the progress spreads locally

I moved into one of the Viera subdivisions in 1993, when Wickham Road was 2 lanes and the only places to eat at that exit were McDonald's, Miami Subs, Denny's, and Cracker Barrel. To know that this much progress has been made, and that the students in the area no longer have to endure 30 minute bus rides to Melbourne or Rockledge high schools, is incredibly encouraging.
I do hope this type of progress spreads into the neighboring counties of Volusia, Seminole, Orange, Osceola, and Indian River.
