"but everybody uses Google."
Sorry, Chris, but not everyone uses Google. From their very well documented spying, to their resource hogging desktop software, to their search engine that steers you to paid links and even malware infested sites, I have found Google to be a site to avoid. I generally delete their software on sight, and find other search engines give me far better results, at least on the types of tech searches that I most commonly do. At least among techies, many of us just say no to Google.
