...between price and usability, is the netbook with an 8.9 inch screen. Easy on the eyes, easy on the hands. The 7 inch machines just can't compete. 800x600 is awful.
10 inch doesn't improve much, compared with 8.9: both have the same resolution: 1024x600. So why pay more for 10 inch?
My daughter and I both have an 8.9 inch Acer Aspire One, which is a great little machine.
Also, I'm glad that the upcoming Ubuntu 9.04 will support the Atheros wireless chipset in the AAO (and in the Eee), out of the box. No more messing about with Madwifi drivers.
