In general, school teachers are the most technophobic group I have ever seen, but I agree that insulating them too much from the tech is counterproductive. Viral marketing works better - get tech-savvy teachers talking to their Luddite brethren, show them what useful things can be done and how their classrooms can be improved, and let the tech sell itself. Then be ready to train technophobic teachers as the need arises - teachable moments are ephemeral things...
