helpfull advice...
build a custom image of XP with nlite, it's free and will integrate any patches/service packs/drivers or even programs if you want to get crazy.

Use 7-Zip to get into just about any setup file or extractable file.

Why the hell didn't you just go to the dell support site, put in your service tag number and get the drivers?!

You really really need to get some training as an IT Pro, you're intentions are good but your not playing the game with a full deck I'm afraid. You have 1000's of tools to make your life easier as a Windows IT guy, yet you seem to be oblivious to all of them. Either read up and get your game up, or preface each blog with, "I'm an amateur and this is unlikely to be the most efficient way of dealing with this".

I know the above is kinda harsh, but trust me you are doing it the hard way. That being said, let me know if you have questions.
