While all this needs to be addressed in a budget, the budget cuts may forclose any upgrades you might need (that is not already funded).

Schools in my area cannot be part of the Library system as they are part of the County Government services. School budgets are usually separate from other government entities because of large budgets, unions and special needs.

In these days of funding shortage, sadly, schools are very short of funds and tight budgets will prevail over everything.

Remember, all that technolgy is more of a tool for teachers and faculty, not a necessity. Teacher can still teach and students can still learn, it is just easier with the technology.
