Due to Netbooks the OLPC program is dead
Why anyone would go for the "give one and get one" program anymore is beyond me.
I am not saying that it is not a good thing to support the program by paying $199 for the program to deliver one to a third world country.

But to pay another $199 to get what amount to a Fischer-Price computer (BTW-you can buy Asus EEE-PCs at Toys R Us) when you can buy one of the more functional Netbooks may spell an end to the "give one and get one" program which OLPC was seriously counting on to pay for a good deal of these.

Too little, Too late.
