I don't agree but that's okay
As I said, I think neither method is intuitive. To me, just like uniqueness, intuitiveness is binary: It either is, or it isn't. Neither of these is.

Like security, I would say that intuitiveness is on a scale. But that hardly matters.

Furthermore, having to find the top or bottom right of the trackpad, simple as that is, is just one more step that needn't be taken.

If it boils down to this then my response would be: great, all else being equal, multi-touch is better than single-touch. I suppose it could be used as a tie breaker because multi-touch support doesn't preclude the use of single-touch techniques so I could still use my trackpad in the way I prefer even if it happened to be multi-touch. Would I give up half my resolution, add size and weight in the device, remove my ability to install the programs I want to install, lose the ability to use an external keyboard should I decide to put one in my suitcase, lose the ability to stream stereo music over bluetooth, etc. etc. etc. to gain multi-touch? Not a chance.

My comments don't come from a place of thinking that multi-touch is useless or will always be useless, only that multi-touch wins the "over hyped beyond belief with next to no tangible benefits" award. You ask someone to name something that is better on the iPhone or the new MacBook and a large percentage will say "multi-touch". You then ask how multi-touch makes the device better and you get responses like "I can scroll with 2 fingers" or "I can rotate pictures on my cell phone".

Again, I'm waiting to be impressed. I'd love to be impressed! It just hasn't happened yet.
