RE: Do you have a call notification system?
At http://os4ed.com, we offer an email and SMS text messaging solution as a module to openSIS (EasyComm) or as a stand alone offering (bAlert). Our pricing is very low and the solution is very easy to manage. We don't do voice and we don't guarantee that you can blast 5,000 crisis messages in 15 minutes, because that is not the right way to approach a crisis anyway.

But it is great for important communications that must be sent in a timely fashion and it has an audit trail as well. Parents can subscribe to specific messages via our parent portal such as Unexcused Absences, tardies, discipline events, grade drops, etc.

A bit player, but he solution works well. Thanks!
