One thing to bear in mind is that minors cannot
license or re-license their own work without their
parent's consent.

Students can in some cases simply pull down content
from the web and re-use it -- if the use is covered by
"fair use" -- which is usually defined much more
narrowly than the law requires, for no good reason
whatsoever.

Also, "digital rights management" doesn't refer to
copyright. Wikipedia: Digital rights management
(DRM) is a generic term that refers to access control
technologies used by hardware manufacturers,
publishers and copyright holders to limit usage of
digital media or devices
