Not sure at what age group you are referring to when you say kids.

Basic computer skills are all that are necessary for middle and high school. If a student would like to explore advanced uses of a computer they can buy a book or take college level classes.

You may be referring to college kids. I wasn't sure.
If that is the case, of course, as part of an Associate or Bachelors program technology and or advanced computer usage/programming/web classes are required for most programs.
