Gee, this is easy to do
All they have to do is stop the students from having in forums or bulletin boards and only have small email limits. that should successfully shut down any P2P copyright violations, along with any help on any assignments and projects they may have going.

This act is a piece of garbage created by a bunch of politicians who've sold their souls to a bunch of corporate thieves who's only interest is their personal bank account. This will have absolutely no effect on anything passed by hand, the most common way students pass around anything they think may draw undue authority attention.

Piracy isn't lowering corporate profits for RIAA and co, it's people getting upset at outrageous prices and behaviour like this refusing to buy anything until the price has dropped to next to nothing.

One thing you can be sure of, if a law is passed by the politicians giving them the power to tell you what to do, the next version will include some way they can penalise you and get money out of you. And any way they put it out it will cost you money. They want the universities to put in place monitoring programs and the like, are they giving them money to do this extra work - you better believe they aren't.
