Defragmentation
Despite great advancements on the hardware front, the magnetic hard drive is still the performance bottleneck and fragmentation can slow down the system. So, with windows server products, defragmenting is still important to keep the servers running smoothly. Incidentally, automatic defragmenters seem to have become quite popular now since they save time, manpower and costs, compared to doing the same thing manually or via schedule for an entire network. More maintenance software ought to head in that direction; it will ease some of the workload on the IT guys wink
